Nic.
Nic volleyed the ball over the goalie and in the back of the net.
FC Lightning was hoping to keep the score tied by wearing out their opponent with their aggressive game, however, they didn't know that
Maremoto was a second half team.
Maremoto started to spread the offense and control the ball much better and pushed the game into home team's field. The route was on with
Michael's three goals,
Beth two goals and one goal each from
Enrique,
Yong and
Nic. The final score 8-4.
Player of the game: This may not have been the highest scoring game for Maremoto, but it was definitely the best performance. One player was able to standout,
Beth covered the field from post to post and with her aggressive play pushed the second goal through a defender and a goal keeper.
Goal of the game: When
Sarah placed the ball in to the box on a free kick and
Enrique had a beautiful header, at that point
FC Lightning was aware the game was out of reach.
